ABOUT/CV
My name is Joel Nallo.
Most recently I worked at Metagravity both as a lead world creator and as a designer. Edge of Chaos is a upcoming MMO which runs on a groundbreaking server tech which makes it possible to have thousands of players on a single server.
I helped lay the foundation of the main map, plus several smaller maps for testing and marketing.
I also did design work, some 3d asset reworks, AI concept art, vegetation spawning, video recording/editing, did some art direction and much more.
Besides my normal work tasks, I also managed other people under me and worked with assigning tasks and setting up meetings.
Before Metagravity, I worked at a game studio called Zordix for 5 years(Now called Maximum Entertainment).
Over there I worked from 2019 in a lead role as level designer/artist.
There my main job has been to build realistic environments in Unity and push the visual looks further. Besides that, I also supervise and provide artists with tasks. On occasions I
did some 3d modelling myself.
Besides that I have helped arranging social events at the company.
When I wasn't doing environment related work, I did from time to time I work with 3d modeling, optimization, concept art, character rigging and promo videos.
Additional info:
I'm educated as a 3d Artist but I have also studied traditional art for two years. Also studied filmscience and media production.
I'm quite a social guy and try to make sure the workplace is fun to go to.
In my spare time I enjoy being outside in the nature, spend time with my family, watch movies and play/create games.
